World X - ITE College Central

Join us for TAC’s flagship career exploration carnival for ITE College Central, where ITE students will get to connect with professionals like you to discover meaningful careers.


1,500 ITE students from different vocational tracks will meet you in small groups, to learn more about your industry and job, hear your story and get connected with you, and imagine new possibilities of meaningful careers for their future.


🔍 Who We’re Looking For


Everyone can sign up! We’re also looking for professionals (past or present) in areas of work that you can imagine ITE students pursuing, and some of these sectors/professions of interest include:

    • Electronics & InfoComm Technology — Software Development Engineering, QA Automation, Cloud Platform Services (e.g. Autodesk Platform Services/APS backend development)
    • Engineering & Technical Design — BIM Modelling/Coordination, AutoCAD Drafting, Technical Sales & Solutions Engineering (AEC, Manufacturing)
    • Design and Media — Product Design & Manufacturing solutions, Media & Entertainment tools (e.g. Maya-based workflows)
    • Business Services — Sales & Digital Sales, Customer Success, HR, Finance, Marketing

Job Taster - Running a hands-on activity to let the youths have a taste of one aspect of your job role

Connector - Sharing with youths on knowledge and insights of your role and industry, inform them of available networks and resources and connect them to opportunities

Guide - Guide and support youths in navigating the World of Work, through the World X experience 

Day X

In partnership with National Youth Council, Day X (Day of Exploration) is a career exploration programme for secondary school students to get an early real-world glimpse into different industries and roles.


In October, you will engage students as a Job Taster, running through hands-on activities, to give the youths a taste of what you do at work! You will also be sharing about their career journeys, day-to-day work, and lessons learned. The goal is to help students make sense of the world of work early, ask honest questions, and begin forming their own aspirations with guidance from working professionals, like yourself!

We will follow up with you if you'd be interested, with the necessary details! 
In a short phrase (max one sentence!), do share with us what you do at work. E.g. "cybersecurity engineer", "HR officer", "UI/UX Designer".

Try not to only provide your job title (e.g. Assistant Director), so that we can understand a little about what you do.

Do provide your personal (non-work) email address if possible, as we would be sending you online resources for your prep work, so that you don't have to be on work email to access it!
